Core Summary
The Academic IT Core offers a set of specialized IT services designed with our research community in mind. The Core is unique as the services will be available on-demand for a recharge rate – outside of the typical IT budget cycle. This will hopefully make it easier to include IT service costs in a grant or proposal.

Additional Services
The Academic IT Core currently offers one service, Scientific Programming & Innovation, with more services to be added in the coming year. This service was one consistently requested by researchers. The Scientific Programming team offers computer programming support to streamline data analysis, experimental control, instrument automation, and more. During the pilot period, we worked with several research teams and look forward to working with even more in the future.
