Vahlteich Medicinal Chemistry Core

The purpose of the University of Michigan’s Vahlteich Medicinal Chemistry Core (VMCC) is to provide medicinal and synthetic chemistry research-support services for both university researchers and external clients. The VMCC is a university recharge center, which serves its customers by providing medicinal chemistry expertise, onsite synthetic chemistry capabilities, and research resources that aid in the design, synthesis, and optimization of bioactive compounds. With a team of skilled scientists and access to advanced technological resources, the VMCC team collaborates on multidisciplinary projects advancing the discovery and development of novel therapeutics that empower researchers to identify tangible health solutions and contribute to the University of Michigan and State of Michigan goals of improving human health for all.
