Microbiome Core
The Microbiome Core offers a number of tools to aid in microbiome and metagenomics research. These services include DNA extraction, preparation of genomic and 16S rRNA gene libraries, and next-generation sequencing on the Illumina MiSeq i100 platform. The core also provides identification of bacteria and fungi with MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.
